I got laser hair removal on my armpits about 10 years ago. It was my first time trying out the procedure so I wanted to do an area that would be less visible than other parts of my body like my legs or face. Well I’m glad to report that even after those first 3 initial treatments, 10 years later the hair has started to grow back but definitely not as thick and not as quick which has resulted in me needing to shave about once every 6 weeks. I only get a really itchy vulva the week right after my period. WTH could that be? The area develops an intense, almost burning itch. But then the next month, it comes around again - that first week after my cycle. I know I'm not getting to the root cause. I have no idea, other than maybe hormones or sudden dryness after my period stops, to explain it. The rest of the month is random itching that usually has a straightforward explanation.
